The province says there are three new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Saturday, bringing the provincial total to 630.

The province says there are three new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Saturday, bringing the provincial total to 630. 

Two of the new cases are in Saskatoon and one is in the far north region. Six people are in hospital due to COVID-19. three of them are in intensive care.

The province says 14 more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the provincial recovery total to 535.

There are currently 88 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.

Of the COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 92 cases were found in young people under 18, 225 cases were in the 20-39 age range, 191 were in the 40-59 age range, 104 were in the 60-70 age range and 18 were in the 80-plus range.

The province said it has conducted 43,419 tests for COVID-19 as of Saturday.
